Studies indicate that Carnosic acid protects red cells from oxidative hemolysis and in the xanthine/xanthine oxidase system inhibits superoxide anion production. In addition, data suggests that Carnosic acid activates PPARγ (peroxisome proliferator activated receptor γ). | ||
