  • Biological Activity
Description Oxytocin C-terminal tripeptide is an inhibitor of melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) release, is shown to be effective in treating human depression with greater efficacy and faster onset of action than traditional anti-depressants. It blocks the release of α-MSH, and increases brain dopamine levels and antagonizes physiological and behavioral opioid effects in vivo.
