Sphingosine-1-phosphate is an intracellular second messenger and mobilizes Ca2+ as an extracellular ligand for G protein-coupled receptors. Sphingosine-1-phosphate is an important lipid mediator generated from Sphingomyelin or other membrane phospholipids. | ||
