GSK-3 INHIBITOR XIII

  • Chemical Properties
CAS No. 404828-08-6 Cat. No. BCP12434
Name GSK-3 INHIBITOR XIII
Synonyms
Formula C18H15N5 M. Wt 301.35
  • Biological Activity
Description Studies suggest that GSK-3 is a multifunctional serine/threonine kinase involved in estrogen and androgen receptor stability by phosphorylation. GSK-3 can bind to androgen receptors forming complexes in the cytoplasm and nucleus, so inhibition by GSK-3 Inhibitor XIII, will result in a rapid nuclear export of endogenous androgen receptors thus reducing receptors for the enzyme to bind to.
